The 19th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education will be held next June in London, co-located with the Festival of Learning. EDULEARN18, the 10th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies is one of the largest international education conferences for lecturers, researchers, technologists and professionals from the educational sector.
After 10 years, it has become a reference event where more than 800 experts from 80 countries will get together to present their projects and share their knowledge on teaching and learning methodologies and educational innovations.
Last March, ouur colleague Stelios Asteriadis (University of Maastricht) presented MaTHiSiS to Regitel local association, which is the representative of companies and knowledge institutions active in the field of information and communication technology within the Limburg area (the Netherlands).
The Special Session will be part of the Computational Intelligence and Games (IEE CIG 2018) conference to be held in Maastricht, Netherlands, on August 14-17, 2018. Paper submissions are invited on the Special Session topic.
Special Session papers will be reviewed by the TPC of the session; they will be part of the Conference Proceedings, and they will be uploaded to IEEE Xplore.
The ICDVRAT conference Series provides a forum for international experts and researchers to present and review how advances in the general area of virtual reality can be used in the area of disabilities, rehabilitation and education.
The Assisted Pilots procedure began in September 2017 with enhancement of the platform according the evaluation results of Driver Pilots outcome, leading to the refinement of components and system level technology consolidation. The enhanced version of the MaTHiSiS platform was tested during this phase with the different PAs first by the partners at their own premises.
The internal testing phase ended at mid-October and the piloting partners were able to test the system at the school venues in the second half of October in order to start running effective pilots in November 2017.

SIMO EDUCATION 2017 took place at Ifema - Feria de Madrid on the 25 to 27 October, where our colleagues from JCYL (General Directorate of Educational Innovation and Teacher Training) presented the MaTHiSiS project along with other education innovation projects during a special session at the Aula Magna (26/10/2017, 15:30-16:30).
